Our History
For over 20 years, Unisong has been a celebration of Canadian unity through song. Created in 1997 by Don and Lois Harper as a means of uniting the country after the very close 1995 Quebec referendum, the Unisong Choral Festival has been bringing together choirs from every province for decades.

Joining a mass ensemble of hundreds of choristers, this once-in-a-lifetime experience allows your choir to perform in the heart of festivities in Ottawa on Canada Day. With a chance to meet and create incredible memories, this festival is a chance for choirs of all ages to be a part of an ongoing tradition, celebrating Canada and music!
